This provides a light & airy structure making the most of the glass area without interruption. However, if you prefer a more traditional appearance, please let us know and we will include for glazing bars typically spaced at 600 to 900mm centres suitable for heritage buildings and older properties. WINTER WARM, SUMMER COOL Stay comfortable all year round – A range of glass choices is available including Premium Clear Solar Control Glass. This cuts down the sun’s heat by about 50%, but the clear glass still lets in plenty of light resulting in a bright room without glare. A special low-emissivity 1.0W/m2.K coating retains heat meaning you always stay cosy during the coldest winter months. Korniche roof lanterns are manufactured from thermally broken aluminium, foam filled gaskets and insulation to reduce the risk of condensation. QUICK & EASY TO FIT Each roof lantern kit comes with easy to follow instructions and is designed for quick assembly rarely taking more than half a day to install. Glass is supplied loose making them ideal for projects where access is restricted as the frame is supplied in knock-down kit form and provided in easy, handy-size bundles. FIRST CLASS APPEARANCE & FINISH The neat, slim aluminium profiles are finished with a durable polyester powder coating finish which is virtually maintenance free. Our roof lanterns can be finished a variety of standard combinations (see the drop down menu above) or any standard RAL Colour.
